# easypay solution for Direct Debit

**Automated, frictionless collections.** Ideal for recurring payments, subscriptions, and customer loyalty.

#### **Advantages**

- **One-time authorization, fully automated payments:** the customer authorizes once and payments are automatically collected on the agreed dates and amounts, with no manual actions or files required.
- **SEPA-wide charges:** debit bank accounts across the entire SEPA zone with the same ease and consistency.
- **Flexible and reversible:** allows adjustments to amounts, dates, or accounts, and supports refunds whenever necessary.

#### **All payment types in a single platform**

- **Frequent payments**
  
    - **Invoice billing:** like online stores, you can use the SEPA Direct Debit Gateway to collect invoice payments automatically. Each time an invoice is issued, collection and settlement are automatic, with no action required from the customer.
    - **E-commerce:** improve customer experience by enabling bank account debits after SEPA Direct Debit authorization using the easypay Gateway.
- **Subscription payments** 
    - **Donations and memberships:** donors or members fill in their bank details in an easypay form and choose the amount and frequency. easypay automatically collects payments on scheduled dates.
    - **Utilities:** water, gas, electricity, telecom — customers subscribe and provide bank details via form or gateway. Payments are automatically collected on agreed dates.
    - **Memberships:** gyms, wine clubs, music subscriptions — customers authorize recurring debits and payments are processed automatically according to the agreed schedule.

#### **Direct Debit Mandate (ADC)**

Direct Debit requires a written authorization (ADC) where both parties agree on collection rules such as frequency, amount, and start date.

The merchant is responsible for maintaining this document to reduce revocation risk, as the customer’s bank may request it at any time to validate transactions.

**Mandatory information in the ADC:**

- Beneficiary name
- Product/service description
- Debtor details (name, address, email, signature, etc.)
- Payment frequency (monthly, yearly, etc.)
- Amount to be charged
- First debit date

#### **Revocation rules**

- If correctly issued, revocation can be made after **D+45** via the bank
- If any field is missing or incomplete, the debtor has up to **13 months** to revoke

ADCs can be issued on paper or electronically and must include all elements required to confirm customer authorization, including signature.
