Apple Pay Prohibited Uses
easypay provides Apple Pay as a payment method for all its merchants. With this method, customers can make online payments using their Apple devices.
However, certain merchant categories are not authorized by Apple to offer Apple Pay to their customers, as outlined below.
Apple Pay may not be used on websites that:
- Violate any law or fail to comply with legal requirements
- Involve transactions related to:
- Tobacco, marijuana, or vaping products
- Firearms, weapons, or ammunition
- Illegal drugs or unlawfully prescribed controlled substances
- Items that create consumer safety risks
- Items intended for illegal activities
- Pornography
- Counterfeit or stolen goods
- Personal fundraising or donation collections for non-profit organizations (unless approved by Apple)
- Primarily offer drug paraphernalia or sexually oriented goods/services
- Promote hate, violence, or discrimination based on race, age, gender, identity, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation
- Involve the purchase or transfer of currency (including cryptocurrencies) unless approved by Apple
- Operate as a simulated digital wallet (e.g., multi-step payment flows or merchant-of-record substitution scenarios)
- Involve fraud
- Infringe intellectual property, advertising, or privacy rights of others
- Misrepresent or disparage Apple or its products
Apple reserves the right, at any time, to disable Apple Pay transactions on any website for any reason it deems appropriate.
