Generate payments via Pay By Link

Access to Pay by Link via easypay is done through https://paybylink.easypay.pt/ or through the easypay Backoffice:

  • Enter the easypay Backoffice
  • In the menu, select “Apps”
  • Click on “Pay by Link”
  • You will be redirected to the page where you can create the payment link and send it to the customer
  • Select the single option: currently only single payments are available; soon recurring and subscription payments will also be available.
  • Payment details:
    • Payment Account – the easypay account you will use for collections
    • Amount – must be greater than €0.5
    • Link expiration date
    • Payment description
    • Payment key – merchant identifier for the payment, can be membership number/student name/invoice number
  • Customer details
    • First and last name, Email, Phone, Language
    • Payment link delivery method – SMS, Email or both
  • Payment methods
    • In this menu you can choose which payment methods will be available to the end customer. If a payment method is not contracted, it will not be available for selection. After creating the link, the end customer will receive it according to the selected method (Email, SMS or both). If the payment is successful, it will appear in the selected Payment Account and can be consulted in the Accounts menu > Transactions
  • Payment statuses: you can check the status of a link by clicking on the corresponding ID
    • Active – the link has been generated and is available for payment.
    • Cancelled – the link has been cancelled.
    • Expired – the selected payment date has expired.
    • Completed – the link was opened and a payment was generated. This does not mean it has been paid. You can check the payment status in the easypay Backoffice.
